The cost of the Dental Assisting program is $3,200.00, which includes a $100 non-refundable registration fee, $2,700 tuition, and $400 fees for the textbook, scrub, one pair, and dental training supplies*. The $400 fee is non-refundable once the student begins the program.
The payment page will offer multiple payment options, including a course deposit-only option and full payment.
If the student chooses to submit the deposit only, Career First Institute will contact the student to discuss the remaining balance and payment terms. The remaining balance must be paid according to the terms discussed and agreed upon with the school. No completion certificate will be issued until the student has no outstanding balance.
If the student chooses to pay the full program cost, the full amount must be paid prior to the class start date.
* Career First Institute provides all necessary books, dental training supplies, and one set of scrubs. The training book is custom developed by Career First Institute. Training supplies include impression material and trays, gauze, cotton rolls, rubber dam, gloves, gown, articulating paper, floss, polishing paste, and any other necessary disposable materials. Students will have access to the dental instruments and equipment used in the operatories.
Refund Policy
A student may cancel or withdraw from their enrollment agreement. Refunds will be calculated in accordance with the Cancellation of Enrollment Agreement or the Program Withdrawal Policy, as outlined below.
All refunds will be processed within 30 days of the cancellation or withdrawal date.
New programs begin contingent upon a minimum enrollment of two students. In the event a program is canceled due to insufficient enrollment, the current enrollment agreement will be cancelled, and the student will receive a full refund of all tuition and fees paid, including the $100 non-refundable registration fee.
Student’s Right to Cancel
A student may cancel their enrollment within three business days of signing the Enrollment Agreement, even if this period extends beyond the program’s start date. Under these circumstances, the student is entitled to a full refund of all tuition and fees paid, minus the $100 non-refundable registration fee.
If the student cancels after the three business days but before the first day of class, they are still entitled to a full refund of tuition and fees paid, minus the $100 non-refundable registration fee.
Program Withdrawal Policy
If a student withdraws:
- If a student withdraws in the first quarter of the program, 20 clock hours or less, the student is entitled to a 75% refund of the program tuition and is responsible for 25% of the program tuition.
- If a student withdraws in the second quarter of the program, more than 20 clock hours but less than 40 clock hours, the student is entitled to a 50% refund of the program tuition and is responsible for 50% of the program tuition.
- If a student withdraws in the third quarter of the program, more than 40 clock hours but less than 60 clock hours, the student is entitled to a 25% refund of the program tuition and is responsible for 75% of the program tuition.
- If a student withdraws in the fourth quarter of the program, more than 60 clock hours, the student is not entitled to a refund and is responsible for the full program cost.
Books and materials fees are non-refundable once the student begins the program.
The student understands that withdrawal must be submitted in writing to the administrator, either in person or by mail, at the address listed above for Career First Institute. The official withdrawal date is recorded as the student’s last date of attendance.
Students who meet the requirement of a minimum grade of 70% or above, minimum attendance of 90% or above, a “Pass” on all lab work, successfully obtain a radiation certificate, and have no outstanding balance will receive a program completion certificate.
If the student is absent for more than fourteen consecutive calendar days and is unable to make up the missed coursework, the student shall be deemed withdrawn from the program. The official date of withdrawal will be recorded as the student’s last day of attendance, and any applicable refund will be processed in accordance with the program’s withdrawal policy.
Any refund owed under the institution’s refund policy will be processed within thirty days.

Grievance Policy
