How long is the Dental Assistant training program?

The program consists of 80 clock hours completed over 10 weeks, with 56 hours (70%) dedicated strictly to hands-on clinical lab training inside an active dental office.

Do I need previous healthcare experience or a high school diploma?

Applicants must be 18 years or older and possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent. No prior healthcare or dental experience is needed to begin.

Does this course include Virginia Dental X-Ray certification preparation?

Yes, our comprehensive radiology module directly prepares students for the DANB Radiation Health and Safety (RHS) exam or the Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA) radiation safety course.
